TMMi Test Process Improver
The TMMi Test Process Improver certification demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in the areas of testing, TMMi, process improvement and assessments.
Holders of the Certified TMMi test process improver qualification have demonstrated competence and knowledge in four key areas:
The TMMi Model
Testing processes, roles and practices
Process improvement
Process assessments
Requirements
The skills in the four areas can be proved in different ways.
Solid knowledge of the TMMi model is ideally demonstrated via the TMMi Professional certificate.
Knowledge of testing processes, roles and procedures is usually demonstrated by holding at least two ISTQB certificates that are above Foundation Level. (e.g. two Advanced Levels or one Advanced and one Specialist module)
Process improvement skills can be demonstrated through professional and project experience.
Skills for process assessments can be demonstrated, for example, through a TMMi or SCAMPI assessor or lead assessor status, through participation in a TMMi assessment with a TMMi lead assessor or through proof of coursework in common assessment methods such as TMMi Assessment Method.

There is no theoretical exam for the TMMi Test Process Improver certification. Candidates register via Certible registration. The required documents can be uploaded either as part of the registration process or later in the self-service portal.
